Glenburn - William G. Groski Sr., 77, died peacefully at home with his family on November 16, 2020. He was born August 2, 1943, in Bridgeport, Connecticut, the son of William and Mae Groski.
Following his graduation from high school, William enlisted in the United States Air Force and was stationed at Dow Field in Bangor. After completing his service, he and Wanda moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida where he started his own business. William operated the business for the next 13 years before deciding to return to Maine. Upon their return to Maine, William began working for the R. M. Flagg Company, retiring as Vice-President of Service.
William is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Wanda (Reeves) Groski of Glenburn; son, William G. Groski Jr. and his wife, Candace, of Hampden; daughter, Kelly and her husband, Brian Paul, of Winterport. He is also survived by his five grandchildren; Benjamin Groski, Abigail and her husband William Hopchak, Audrey Groski, Adam Groski, and Reagan Paul.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 21, 2020 at Mount Hope Cemetery, Bangor with Pastor Stan Griffin, officiating. Relatives and friends are invited to meet 10:45 a.m. Saturday, at the Superintendents Lodge, State Street entrance, Bangor.
