Dear Susette, Jeff, Diane and family. So very sad to read of the death of your Mom, Verna. She was a great lady with a terrific sense of humor and I know that you all loved her deeply. My sympathies go out to all of you and your entire family. As you know Verna was a life long friend to Mom and I will always appreciate how she would visit and take her places, Mom had many fond memories of their time together. I am sorry to say that I will not be able to be with you as you celebrate her funeral Mass on Saturday. However please know that my thoughts will be with all on that day and all the days to come.
