Jean was a neighbor, friend and 'Grammy Maynard" to our children for many years. She was a great lady with a wonderful sense of humor and a very caring heart. She always talked so fondly of her children and grand children and loved them all dearly. Jean was a great cook and I have several of her recipes. My favorite was her hot fudge sauce which took years for her agree to give me the recipe! Marjorie (Becker) Strout

I worked with Jean at Kleinschmidt Associates, and then she volunteered at SVH in Pittsfield, Maine
she was the nicest lady, and I missed seeing her smiling face at the Hospital. It was a pleasure working with her and I considered her a friend. My thoughts and prayers with you all. Kathy-Jo Bizeau

Saddened in your mother's passing - There is a strong connection in terms of MCI because your mother's father, Headmaster Purinton, hired my father in 1941 to start a vocational arts (shop) program for MCI as well as the Town - You are in my thoughts -
