My family, the Searles family, lived three houses up from the Collenburg family. We loved Doug, he would come running to our driveway and say Hi and asked if my Dad was my Daddy, and then ran home. He was always cheerful, sweet, loved to laugh and very dear to us. Our deepest sympathies to Steve and his family. I like to think Doug was welcomed with open arms by his loving sister, Laurie and his parents. RIP, Doug.
