Edmond Matthew Paschal
Bangor- Edmond M. Paschal, 79, died suddenly April 12th 2018, at home surrounded by family. He was born August 29, 1938 in Bangor, Maine, the son of Charles and Ida Paschal. Edmond graduated from John Bapst High School, class of 1958. He then served twenty years in the U.S. Air Force. He married his high school sweetheart, Jean McDonald, and celebrated nearly sixty years of marriage. Along with their three children, they traveled together as a military family. After working for the Bangor Water district for 20 years, he then retired.
Family was everything to him. He was a dedicated and loving man; he was responsible, humble, honest, kind, and hard working. Ed loved art. He was very talented and shared those talents throughout his high school stage mural days, to teaching art at the Bangor Senior Center. In high school, Ed was a stand out on the football and track teams. Ed was very proud of his wall mural at the water district and his entry to the World Trade Center Memorial competition. Ed was a very giving man. He served five years with Meals for Me and played Santa Claus for numerous events over several years. He loved the outdoors and had a deep passion for gardening and working around his pond and home. Ed was predeceased by his parents, eight brothers, and one sister. Surviving in addition to his wife, Jean (McDonald) Paschal, are his daughters Kimberly Numrych and her husband, Robert of Bangor, Sue Curtis and her husband, Scott of Old Town, and his son Wayne Paschal, of Bangor. His grandchildren are Ryan, Erika, Matthew, Kelsey, Brandon, Shannon and Remay. His great Grandchildren are Peyton, Nicole, Bailey and Noah. He is also survived by his sister Margaret Paschal, sister in law Sally McDonald, and many nieces and nephews. He held ALL very close to his heart. Love You…”MERRY CHRISTMAS” A special thank you to Dr. Christopher Ritter, his nurses Kelly and Allyson, and St Joseph’s Home Care and Hospice.
